The workers from Sun Good garment factory from Inn Takaw Township, Bago Region which manufactures jean pants said that the Chinese manager lady (aka Jie Jie in the place ) is introducing Chinese men to them and matchmaking them.
“She is matchmaking with every pretty Burmese lady. She tends to bring a girl with her when she go back to China. It is not sure weather those men are single or not,” said a worker.
The manager lady had gone back to China for about 20 days and the workers don’t know that weather she bring the girl she matchmade with her. Some girls respond to her matchmaking although most refuse according to the workers.
“She shows them the pictures of men and said that its her cousin. She is doing these things secretly and calling the girl she targeted to her office and talk to her via interpreter,” said the worker.
The workers said that the reason they reported the issue is because they are worried about human trafficking and by taking advantage of the current political situations.
The Sun Good factory is operating for just around 5 months and it is operating with foreign investments according to the information from Dica and the workers said that the factory which manufactures its own brand have less than 100 workers which half of them are single and the others are married.
