We are from TV garment factory at Than Lan Bus Stop, Shwe Baho Road, Shwe Pyi Thar Township. Our factory is factory no.2

The factory is flooding today (October 22). Workers asked to go back home due to concerns but the manager didn’t allow us. We are asking because of emergency situations.

The manager and HRs are denying our requests. It is dangerous here with electric wires.

The HR said that we can go back but the attendance bonus will be cut.

There is no fixed attendance bonus. We get paid 10,000 kyats a month or sometimes 20,000 kyats for two months.

We don’t get paid any if we miss a day. Other factories still pay subsidies but ours don’t.

We are having difficulties as we can’t work nor go back at here.

#information – The factory is operating by domestic investment according to data of DICA. It is manufacturing CLIQUE brand apparels.
