We are workers from Sincere Season garment factory which located at Mya Sein Yaung Street, Mya Sein Yaung Industrial Zone, Hlaing Thar Yar Township.

The factory is calling overtime on Sundays despite we work overtime on every day until 6:00 p.m. or 8:00 p.m. They have also called for tomorrow (Aug 4th). We are working nearly every week. They are calling excessive overtime continuously since May

We are tolerating every abuse and harassment due to our livelihoods. The salaries are cut and we are rudely assaulted if we don’t work overtime.

They also inspect who writes the opinion letters. The manager said “We can report to anywhere. The employer can close the factory and operates at another place,”.

They give a break time at 4:10 p.m.

There are many underage workers and workers who don’t have an EC contract yet.

The underage workers are fired as soon as it is found out although the HR themselves already interviewed them. Workers have to answer as their desire during the inspections.

There is no legal leaves including medical leaves. The nurse never present at the factory dispensary. She is always using her phone and told there is no medicines when we asked for.

The owner is a Chinese national and there are around 2,000 workers. I heard about WCC only when other people told. There is no trade union.

The manufacturing brands are Bestsellers , PULL&BEAR , Sinsay , Amisu and Vero Moda.
We only left to die due to excessive overtimes. Please help us.
