Security company detain employees and tried to extorted money

It is said that Nyein Hsu Latt Security Company which located at Sakawar Street, Dagon University Avenue Villa, New East Dagon Township detained and extorted money from the employers.

2 men were hired as security positions and appointed at Hang Tai Myanmar Co,ltd from War Ta Yar Industrial Zone. 

 Certain items from Hang Tai Myanmar factory lost on September 6, 2024 and the factory official told the security leader that they would not collaborate with Nyein Hsu Latt Security Company anymore and told them to take responsibility and accountability for the lost items. 2 security stuffs and around 18 workers were dismissed on September 8 as a consequence.

It is learnt that those two security stuffs were taken by the security leader of the Nyein Hsu Latt Security when the families inquire on September 12 after they lost contact with them.

“They extorted 15 lakhs to return them and let them go only on September 23 when we tried to sue. The money they asked was not given,” said a person who helped/

Those two workers were detained in the headquarters of the agency from September 12 to 23 and their family members asked help from STUM Solidarity of Trade Unions, Myanmar when they were informed to pay 15 lakhs for the return of each of them.

Nyein Hsu Latt Security Co,ltd return the two security stuffs at the witness of the Police Station Officer of the  Shwe Pyi Thar Police Station at 11:30 am September 23 while the family was trying to sue.
