On May 21 last month, Pepsi submitted nominations for 3 defendants. According to the decision, Daw Su Su Myat was allowed to testify in the case filed on behalf of the company.

At the trial on April 3, the judge ordered that the company be sued as an extension of the lawsuit after both sides were examined at the Mawbe District Court, in Pepsi’s case filed by U Thaung Han, a former employee.

The next court date has been rescheduled for July 5.

U Thaung Han was fired on October 31st 2022, due to their age which is against the EC contract and the worker permitted to file a lawsuit only at mid may of 2023 after negotiations were failed to reach solution.
