Myanmar Postarion Factory Workers Continue Wage Demand for Third Consecutive Day

Workers from Myanmar Postarion garment factory are continuing their wage increase demands today, June 5, marking the third consecutive day of protest.

The factory workers are demanding increases of 13,000 kyats for daily wages, 60,000 kyats for attendance bonus, and 2,500 kyats per hour for overtime. According to the Solidarity Trade Union of Myanmar (STUM), all factory workers are united and participating collectively in the demand.

Myanmar Postarion (Red Stone) factory is a garment manufacturing facility located on Industry Road 3, Industrial Zone 1, Shwepyithar Township, Yangon.
