မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှာ အလုပ်အကိုင်ဆုံးရှုံးမှု ပိုမိုမြင့်တက်လာပြီး အလုပ်လက်မဲ့ဦးရေပိုမို မြင့်တက်လာရာ ယခုနှစ်ပထမနှစ်ဝက်မှာ ပင် အလုပ်လက်မဲ့ဦးရေ တစ်သန်းကျော် အထိရှိလာတယ်လို့ သိရပါတယ် ။
'' အလုပ်လက်မဲ့တွေပိုများလာတယ်။ လခစားတွေကနေနေ့စားဝန်ထမ်းတွေဖြစ်လာတယ်။ နေ့စားမို့ဆိုပီး ထုတ်ချင်သလိုထုတ်နစ်နာကြေးမရ အလုပ်သမားခံစားခွင့်တွေဆုံးရှုံးတယ်ဆိုတာ ပိုပိုဆိုးလာတယ်။ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံရဲ့အလုပ်လက်မဲ့ဦးရေက ကြာလေတက်လေကြာလေတက်လေဖြစ်နေတယ််'လို့ အလုပ်သမားရေးဆောင်ရွက်သူတစ်ဦးကပြောပါတယ်။
မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှာ စစ်အာဏာသိမ်းပြီးနောက် စီးပွားရေးကျဆင်းကာ အလုပ်သမားလျှော့ချခြင်းကြောင့် အလုပ်လက်မဲ့ဦးရေများပြားလာရာ ယခုနှစ်အလုပ်လက်မဲ့ဦးရေဟာ ၂၀၂၀ ခုနှစ်နဲ့ နှိုင်းယှဉ်ရင် အလုပ်လက်မဲ့ ၁ ဒသမ ၁ သန်းရှိနေတယ်လို့ အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာ အလုပ်သမား ရေးရာအဖွဲ့(ILO)က ထုတ်ပြန်ထားပါတယ်။
မြန်မာနိုင်ငံရဲ့ အလုပ်အကိုင်အခြေအနေနဲ့ပတ်သက်ပြီး ၂၀၂၂ ခုနှစ် ပထမနှစ်ဝက်ကာလ အစီရင်ခံစာ ကို ILO က ဩဂုတ်၁ရက်က ထုတ်ပြန်ခဲ့တာဖြစ်ပြီး မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှာ အလုပ်အကိုင်ဆုံးရှုံးမှု အလွန်အမင်း ကြုံတွေ့နေရတဲ့အပြင် အလုပ်အကိုင်တွေဟာ ၂၀၂၀ ခုနှစ်ကာလထက် အဆင့်နိမ့်ကျနေပြီးတော့ အမျိုးသမီးတွေဟာ အမျိုးသားတွေထက် ပိုပြီး ဆုံးရှုံးနေတယ်လို့ ဆိုပါတယ်။

ဟာ ၂၀၂၁ ခုနှစ်မှာ အလုပ်အကိုင်ဆုံးရှုံးသွားခဲ့တာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
ဒါ့အပြင် လက်ရှိအထည်ချုပ်လုပ်ငန်းတွေမှာ အလုပ်သမားတွေအနေနဲ့ ၊ နေ့စားလုပ်ပေးနေ ရတာအပြင် အလုပ်ချိန် ပုံမှန်မဆင်းရတာ၊ လုပ်အားခအပြည့်မ ရတာမျိုးတွေ နဲ့ အလုပ်သမားအခွင့်အရေးမရရှိတာတွေကိုလည်း အလုပ်သမားတွေ ကြုံတွေ့နေရတယ်လို့ ILO အစီရင်ခံစာမှာ ဖော်ပြထားပါတယ်။

Job losses are rising in Myanmar, with more than one million unemployed
In Myanmar, the unemployment rate is rising with the increasing job losses. It is reported that the number of unemployed has reached over one million in the first half of this year alone.
''There are more and more unemployed people. Permanent workers are becoming daily wage workers. Due to being daily laborer's, workers have been dismissed arbitrarily without compensation. They lose their rights and benefits, situations are really worse. The longer it takes, the more people become unemployed in Myanmar" said a labour activist.
International Labour Organization (ILO) released that the number of unemployed this year compared to 2020 was 1.1 million as the economy declined after the military coup and the number of unemployed increased due to the reduction of labor force in Myanmar.
On August 1, the ILO released a report on Myanmar's employment situation for the first half of 2022. It said that Myanmar is experiencing extreme job losses and the quality of jobs are at a lower level than in 2020. It also said that women lose their jobs more than men.
In Myanmar, 1.8 million workers out of more than 20 million people of working age have lost their jobs in 2021.
Besides having to work as the daily wage workers, ILO report also stated that, the workers of the garment industry are currently facing the difficulties such as not having regular working hours, not being paid the full wages and not having the labour rights.
